The race for mayor of Halton Hills is heating up.

Norman Paulsen threw his hat in the ring today (July 21) for council’s top spot, going up against Councillor Bryan Lewis and Councillor Ann Lawlor.

Paulsen owns longtime local business Acton Motors and is also on the board of directors for the Downtown Acton BIA. He wasn't immediately available for comment.

Today was a busy one for municipal election nomination filings, with three more council newcomers entering the race for Ward 2 and 4 councillor positions.
