The busiest race in the Halton Hills municipal election will be front and centre again next week.

A Ward 2 candidates meeting, organized by a group of Limehouse residents, will take place at the Limehouse Memorial Hall on Oct. 5 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The candidates will be provided with questions in advance of the meeting. All Ward 2 residents of voting age are invited.

With incumbent Ward 2 Councillor Ted Brown retiring, and Councillor Bryan Lewis running for the mayor seat, there are two positions up for grabs in the district that encompasses rural Halton Hills and the hamlets.

The candidates are: Joseph Racinsky, Jason Brass, Peter Snow, Maureen Gillham, Matt Kindbom, Bryan Robinson, Greg Cosper and Geoff Maltby.

Anyone with questions can reach the organizers of the meeting via text at 647-338-3300 or 416-453-1427.
