Conservation Halton is brewing up some fun for this year's Hops and Harvest Festival.
The event that celebrates the vibrant spirit of the autumn season with fun, food and beverages will run from Oct. 13 to 15 at Area 8 Conservation in Milton.
The festival will feature over 40 local and small businesses, including craft breweries, cideries and wineries, artisans, as well as a variety of food vendors. A lineup of musicians will perform on the main stage, including Hayley Verall, Jason Maxwell, The Blackstones, Broadtree, ASD Band, Darren Hancock Band, Holly Clausius, CJ Cooper, and Fast and Loose.
Other attractions included in the event will be a campfire lounge, wood branding, lawn games, fall photo stations, face painting, boat rentals, archery, and hatchet throwing. This year will also feature a new Kids Zone Stage, which will have entertainment and activities for younger attendees to enjoy.
“Hops and Harvest is where the best of brews meets the beauty of the harvest season. We can't wait to welcome our community and visitors alike to join us in embracing the rich flavours and colours of autumn," says Craig Machan, director of parks and operations.
Tickets can be purchased online.
The event will run on Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
