It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Patricia on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Ken, her brother Fred, sister-in-law Joan, and brother Alan. Beloved mother to David (Pat) and Heather. Cherished grandma to Matthew (Robyn), Laura (Jordon), Connor (Shelby) and Caellum. Survived by her sister-in-law Jeanette and nieces and nephews Nancy, Doug, Diane, Barbara, Bruce, Lois, and John.
Mom was born in Toronto and attended Parkdale Collegiate before beginning her career with Remington Rand. After she married Dad, they moved to Georgetown, where she had a long career as a legal secretary for Fred Helson.
Mom spent many happy years playing golf with Dad and friends, started every morning with a crossword puzzle, and made a point of baking her special chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for her grandkids. Mom loved to read, play bridge, and was an avid crafter, doing knitting, quilting and rug hooking. Mom always looked forward to our many family gatherings, sharing great food and spending time catching up with everyone and having lots of laughs.
At Mom's request, no service will be held. If desired, donations may be made to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation.
