Georgetown traffic stop leads to impaired charges for Halton Hills man

A Halton Hills man is facing impaired driving charges after being pulled over by police Sunday night.

Halton Police say officers conducted a traffic stop around 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 27 in the area of Moore Park Crescent and Main Street in Georgetown.

As a result of its investigation, police charged a 39-year-old Halton Hills man with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
