Halton Police searching for missing Oakville man (update: found)

Original information:
Halton Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Oakville man.

James Cottle, 49, of Oakville was last seen in the Kerr Street area of Oakville with his black e-bike on Sept. 21.

Police say they're concerned for his safety as he suffered a significant head injury 16 years ago.

Cottle is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 5’10” tall with a medium build
  • Short brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Yin-Yang tattoo on left shoulder
  • Last seen wearing black T-shirt, khaki shorts with plaid, black socks and white shoes. 

Police say he has been known to frequent the Toronto area. 

Anyone with information about Cottle or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
