Police look to identify suspect in alleged Oakville sexual assault

Incident happened Saturday morning in the Sandpiper Road and Fourth Line area

Halton Regional Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man following an alleged sexual assault in Oakville on Saturday morning.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., police say an Oakville woman was grabbed from behind while walking in the Sandpiper Road and Fourth Line area. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled the area on foot.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as:
    •    Male, white, in his late 30s
    •    Wearing bright fluorescent green shorts, a grey top and black running shoes
    •    Approximately 5’8” tall with a heavy build
    •    Crew cut dark hair.
