Three face impaired charges in separate Halton Hills incidents

The incidents occurred in Acton, Georgetown and the rural area this week

A trio of Halton Hills residents are facing impaired charges.

Halton Police say on Aug. 3, they conducted a traffic stop in the area of Norman Avenue and Acton Boulevard in Acton. Kristen Nazareth, 25, of Acton was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80 mgs or more, within two hours.

Police also laid two impaired charges the following day in two separate incidents.

On Aug. 4, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Steeles Avenue West and Tenth Line in Halton Hills. Jozef Wrobel, 54, of Halton Hills was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80 mgs or more, within two hours.

Police responded to another citizen-initiated complaint on Aug. 4 in the area of Armstrong Avenue and Sinclair Avenue in Georgetown. Carlos Flores Arias, 38, of Georgetown was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80 mgs or more, within two hours.

Police remind residents that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.
