Notice of Town Facility Service Interruptions due to Saturday Planned Power Outage

Planned outage is expected to affect approximately 13,000 Halton Hills customers, from 5 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Halton Hills Hydro has announced a planned power outage on Saturday, October 22 from 5 to 10 a.m., affecting approximately 13,000 customers in Halton Hills, including Town of Halton Hills facilities. The power outage is being monitored by Halton Hills Hydro. Please refer to Halton Hills Hydro’s planned outage notice for maps and additional information.

The following Town of Halton Hills facilities will be impacted by the power outage:

IMPACTED / CLOSED on October 22 from 5 to 10 a.m.:

  • Mold Masters SportsPlex
  • Halton Hills Cultural Centre – John Elliott Theatre & Helson Gallery
  • Halton Hills Public Library – Georgetown Branch
  • Cedarvale Community Centre
  • Norval Community Centre
  • Acton Arena & Community Centre
  • Georgetown Indoor Pool

NOT IMPACTED / OPEN on October 22 from 5 to 10 a.m.:

  • Halton Hills Public Library – Acton Branch
  • Gellert Community Centre
  • Acton Indoor Pool
