The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce has a couple events planned to help local residents make informed decisions on municipal election day (Oct. 24).
A mayoral candidate forum is set for Oct. 4 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Norval United Church, 14015 Danby Road, Georgetown.
The candidates will answer questions that are prepared in advance related to the Halton Hills business climate and community (no questions will be taken from the audience).
Doors open at 8 a.m., with the candidate statements and moderated questions getting underway at 8:30 a.m.
A meet the candidates session will then take place on Oct. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Acton Town Hall Centre, giving local residents a chance to speak with candidates from across Halton Hills in person.
All candidates standing for election are invited to attend, but there will be no formal opportunity to present a platform.
