Town of Halton Hills


The Town of Halton Hills, with a population of approximately 60,000, consists of two urban centers, Georgetown and Acton, the Halton Hills Premier Gateway employment area, three hamlets – Glen Williams, Stewarttown and Norval – and several smaller settlements. Halton Hills has long been recognized for its'​ natural beauty, active agricultural community, high quality of life and proximity to major centers, including Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto. The Town is ranked as one of the top small communities in Canada by a national magazine.

Calendar of Events

Review the municipal calendar to find upcoming meeting dates, agendas, past minutes, and archived recordings. The Town of Halton Hills also broadcasts all meetings via livestream during the event. Stay up to date and make sure you are following the Town’s social media channels as well, as all upcoming council meetings will be announced there. 

Speak before Council

Members of the public can also request to appear as a delegation if they would like to speak before Council or submit comments via email to [email protected] in advance of the meeting. Submitted comments are circulated to Town Council and become part of the public record.
