Georgetown’s Bennett Village is looking for local residents interested in serving on its board of directors and committees.

The not-for-profit that serves seniors is particularly interested in candidates with experience in finance/accounting,healthcare/medical or marketing/fundraising. Board leadership experience is also a plus, and French-speaking volunteers are encouraged to apply.

“This is an exciting time to join Bennett Village's board of directors as we embark on the journey of building a brand new long-term care home,” said board chair Céline Moore.

“Joining our board means being part of an organization recognized for its excellence in senior care and actively contributing to shaping the future of long-term care through our exciting new development endeavours.”

The Bennett Village board of directors is comprised of leaders and professionals from the non-profit and for-profit sectors who contribute a few hours every month to support local seniors.

Those who’d like to put their name forward for consideration can find an application form at https://bennettvillage.ca/volunteers. The deadline to apply is April 8.
