Halton Hills traffic stop leads to drug charges

Halton Police have charged a Brampton man with possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop Thursday.

A Brampton man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Halton Hills.

At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Thursday (May 9), Halton Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Ninth Line and Steeles Avenue. An investigation determined that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of methamphetamine.

As a result, a 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance.

Halton Police don’t provide names of those charged with possession of drugs.
