Halton’s two school boards are continuing efforts to raise awareness about the ongoing reality of sex trafficking.

They’ll do so with the latest information session on the subject, set for Thursday, June 13 at Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School (1120 Main St. E., Milton).

Co-hosted by the Halton Catholic District School Board and Halton District School Board, the event – running from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – will focus on the warning signs of sex trafficking, who’s at risk and measures to keep children safe.

Attendees will hear from sex trafficking survivors, as well as those from local support groups SAVIS of Halton and EFRY Hope and Help for Women.

Child care will be provided free of charge during the meeting for children four and older. Click here to register for the info session.
