It’s safe to say little Blair Reno couldn’t wait to get here.
The baby girl was the first one born at Georgetown Hospital this year, coming into the world two weeks early on Jan. 2 at 9:45 p.m.
“It was a bit of a surprise for us,” mother Diana Reno told HaltonHillsToday.
She and husband Ethan made their first trip to the hospital the night before to check on baby Blair, since she wasn’t moving as much as usual.
“Of course, as soon as we got there, she started kicking up a storm,” said Reno.
They returned home for less than an hour before Reno’s water broke, with Blair being born later that day, weighing in at seven pounds, two ounces.
The little girl is the first baby for Diana and Ethan, who look forward to introducing her to their 11-month-old niece soon.
