A Georgetown man has been charged with impaired driving and possession of heroin.
Acting on a citizen complaint, Halton Police responded to the area of Trafalgar Road and 5 Sideroad around 8:30 a.m. Monday (Feb. 26).
As a result of their investigation, a 53-year-old Georgetown man was charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs. He is also facing a charge of possession – Schedule 1 substance – heroin.
Halton Police are no longer releasing the names of impaired drivers.
