Break out those bibs - it's almost time for the Kiwanis Club of Georgetown's annual Lobsterfest.
Live lobsters are being flown in from Nova Scotia for the event at the Gellert Community Centre on Friday, May 24.
Tickets are $95 and includes two lobsters, a four-ounce steak, potatoes, salad and dessert. Additional lobsters and steaks are available for purchase during the evening, and afterwards as quantities allow.
Tables of eight, 10 and 16 are available if you want to bring friends along. Please let organizers know who's in your group if you wish to sit together.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 7 p.m., followed by a dance.
Tickets are available online through Showpass and can also be purchased by calling 905-691-0672. All proceeds from the dinner support local Kiwanis Club projects in town.
