Two men sought after midday break-in attempt at Georgetown home

Halton Police are looking for two suspects after an attempted break-in at a Georgetown home Mar. 7.

Halton Police are looking for two men who attempted to break into a local house on Thursday (Mar. 7).

Around 12:30 p.m., police say two suspects tried to break in through the front door of a house in the area of Mountainview Road South and Barber Drive.

According to police, the pair was unsuccessful in their attempt to physically force the locked door open and didn't gain entry.

A resident was home at the time, but police say they didn't confront the suspects and were not injured. 

The first suspect is described as male, approximately 6-foot, slim build, wearing a dark-coloured sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as male, 6-foot, heavy build, wearing a dark-coloured sweatshirt.
