Shirley passed away peacefully in her sleep at Extendicare in Georgetown, on Sunday, April 7, 2024, in her 98th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Rino Joseph Braida (2009) for more than sixty years and the loving mother of the late Janet Marshall and her husband Brent and David Braida and his wife Susan.
Loving grandmother of Bryce Marshall (Lisa), Bronwyn Parker (Ryan), Edyn Marshall (Brad), Laurie Braida (Jay) and Carlee Braida (Shaun), and great-grandmother of Zakary and Landyn Marshall, Brynn and Keely Parker, Mckinley Sutton, Charlie and Chase Lawrence, and Levi and Locke Thomson.
The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street, Acton on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 2 – 4 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Patron of Canada Parish, 64 Church Street East, Acton on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. officiated by the Fr, Mark Sullivan. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Acton.
