It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Noble Burns, a beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend. Noble passed away peacefully in his 80th year on March 28, 2023 after a long battle with complex health issues.

Noble was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Canada when he was twelve. He made his life in Ontario, where he built a reputation as a friendly and outgoing person who loved to talk to people. He made friends wherever he went and was always looking to put a smile on someone's face. In his younger years, Noble enjoyed playing sports. As he grew older, he gave up playing but continued to root for his favourite teams, like the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Cleveland Browns.

Noble worked at the LCBO for 30-plus years and was lucky enough to have retired at the age of 55. His luck also carried over to the casino, one of his favourite places to go, where he enjoyed many wins. Noble's family meant everything to him. He was a devoted husband to Ruth Burns (Curry) and a loving father to Janis and Kim (Scot). He adored his granddaughters, Madalyn and Layla, and family dogs, Bear and Daisy. He will also be missed by his sister, Betty (Dave), his niece, Dara and her daughter, Jovi, and sister-in-law Amy (Ron). Noble enjoyed travelling but was happiest on his porch talking to neighbours, near a lake in Northern Ontario or sitting by the pool with family, including in-laws Ric and Rose. He loved having a beer and bbq, sharing his Tim’s coffee and instigating fun.

Noble Burns was a great guy who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. His infectious smile, kind heart, and love of life will always be remembered. May he rest in peace.
