(Taxi Cab Driver for McKab Taxi for over 40 years) - Peacefully, on Saturday August 6, 2022 at the Milton District Hospital. Rick, in his 70th year, beloved brother of Janis (David) Voegeli and Andrea (Frank) Van De Valk.
Loved uncle of Kristen Voegeli, Erin Voegeli (Bob Goudy), Scott Van De Valk and Kerri Reed (Phil Beer). Great uncle of Caden, Chace and Colton Reed, Laurel Goudy, Emma and Elexa Beer. Rick was a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Rick, loved animals (who never judged, just loved), was well liked by all who knew him, will be forever remembered as a very caring, kind and gentle person and will be sadly missed by all of his family and his many many friends.
Friends will be received in the Trafalgar Room of the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 to celebrate Rick's life on Friday August 12, 2022 from 3-6 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Kidney Foundation or the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.
