Sherry Patricia Sharpe Farago left on her next chapter after a long battle with Cancer, to be reunited with her father Lloyd Allen Sharpe.

She leaves behind her beloved soul mate, husband Peter, her perfect match whom she travelled the world with, her mother Patricia, her sisters Merna (David), Nancy (Mike), her heart sister Kelly (Zac) Machado and her heart brother Morgan (Dawne) Jones. Sherry will watch over her nieces Samantha, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Michelle, Adrianna, her nephews Nathan, Nicholas, Marcus, Max and Lucas. Sherry worked at the Halton Hills Public Library for 39 years beginning at the age of 14, where she made many lifetime friends and helped many patrons.

Sherry was a past Chair of the United Way on behalf of the Town of Halton Hills. Sherry was a board member of Literacy North and Past committee member of the St. Andrews United Church. She loved reading, chocolate, dining out, baking and crocheting blankets for friends and family. Sherry was very strong of heart, mind and body, and her heart and kindness was boundless. She gave everything of herself to others. Sherry has left us and made a huge hole in our world that can never be filled.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd.) Georgetown on Monday January 30, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8. Funeral will take place at St. Andrews United Church (89 Mountainview Rd. S. Georgetown) on Tuesday January 31, at 2:00pm. Burial at Hillcrest cemetery and reception to follow in the church hall.
