In Loving Memory of Veronica Higgins, a beacon of love and strength, passed away peacefully on December 19th 2023 at the age of 73. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a lifetime of cherished memories. Veronica was born on February 10th 1950 in Liverpool, England to Harry & Alice Draper. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Veronica touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her unwavering love and compassion were evident in every aspect of her life, creating a home filled with warmth and understanding. Veronica was a pillar of strength for her family, providing love, guidance, and unwavering support.
Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, embracing friends and acquaintances with open arms. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated. In addition to her roles as a loving mother and grandmother, Veronica brought joy to our life’s and enriched the lives of those around her. Veronica is survived by her son John & his wife Tracey, her son Gary & his wife Julie, her grandchildren Nathan, Mathew, Jessika, Owen, Dylan & Dawson. Surviving family brother Harry, sisters Carol & Elieen who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. While we mourn the loss of our beloved mother and grandmother, we also celebrate the incredible life she led and the positive impact she made on all who knew her.
A celebration of life for Veronica's life will be held in late January the date will be noted after the holiday season. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to [Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/t/53737?v2=true , a cause that was dear to Veronica's heart and gave her an abundance of support during her time in need.
Veronica Higgins will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her enduring love, wisdom, and the countless moments of joy she shared with those around her. May she rest in peace with our loving father Graham
