It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful son, Michael Stuart Jones, on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at the age of 28.
Beloved son of Peter and Janette (nee Noble) Sutej, Loving brother to Jessica Jones (Jason Johansen) and Nicole Sutej, Devoted Fiance to Hailey MacArthur and their unborn daughter, who they nicknamed nugget.
Michael will leave a void in everyone he has encountered from his Aunts and Uncles, Linda Roberts, Patty Roberts, Jim and Julie Roberts, George and Raun Sutej, Jim and Corrine Sutej, Elke Jones (Pre-deceased husband Garry Jones), all of his cousins, the MacArthur family, friends and UA Local 46.
Pre-deceased by his Grandparents, Stuart Noble (2008), Marlene Noble (2022), George Sutej (2021) and Slovka Sutej (2016).
Michael was taken far too early. There are no words to explain the devastating loss felt by so many family members and friends. Michael's beautiful, kind, easygoing, loving nature was infectious from the time he was born. He made an impact on everyone he met. He put others before himself in all situations. He had a great love of the outdoors, golfing and fishing from a very early age. Michael spent hours with family, and extended family, learning everything he could and would then share it with his friends. He also had a love for music, dancing and travel. Michael will always be remembered for his quiet, yet spontaneous and infectious nature that left an imprint everywhere he travelled.
Michael, one of a kind and loved by so many, as we can see in the outpouring of support for Hailey and our family. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who has contributed to support Hailey and their future daughter.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 16th, at 2:00 p.m.
