Anne Minota Wilson (Chalker)- It is with great sadness the family of Anne Wilson announces her passing on December 19, 2023 at the age of 88.
A loving Mother to Ruth Anne (Nick), Norma (George) and David (Maureen), A devoted Grandma to Lori (Greg), Janet (Matt), Katelyn (Mike), Ree Anne (Ralph), Calvin (Sadie), Jennie (Colton), Mark (Emilie), Emily (Marlowe), Erica (Jake) and Rebecca. And a special GG to Addison, Audrey, Kara, Aiden, Charlie, William, Leah, Liam and Reid.
Anne was predeceased by her husband Earl (1981) and sister in law Ruth (Harry) Moore. Anne was raised in Limehouse and Georgetown and in 1958 married Earl Wilson and moved to the 10th Line, Norval to raise a family and later to enjoy her retirement years. Anne was a Registered Nurse and worked at Guelph and Brampton hospitals and was a comfort to many who loved a visit. She was a member of Norval United Church, Women's Institute and adventurous in her many travels. Anne was always ready for a visit, coffee, card game, lunch or a trip of any kind. She was blessed with many friends and will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday December 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday December 23rd at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery Norval, after the reception.
