Another teen facing charges in relation to Milton pharmacy robbery

March 7 update:
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a fourth suspect in relation to a Milton pharmacy robbery.

On March 4, officers arrested a 17-year-old male from Toronto.

He has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Disguise with intent
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Obstruct peace officer.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Police are not seeking any additional suspects related to this robbery.

Original Feb. 16 information:
The Halton Regional Police Service has now charged three teens following yesterday's pharmacy robbery in Milton.

On Feb. 15 at approximately 12:30 p.m., police say there was an armed robbery of Bonafide Compounding Pharmacy, located in the area of Britannia Road and Leger Way in Milton.

According to police, three suspects entered the pharmacy and demanded narcotics.

"Due to the use of a time-delayed safe, the suspects grabbed the cash till and fled the scene without narcotics in a stolen white Honda CRV driven by a fourth suspect," police said in a news release.

"The stolen vehicle was driven in a dangerous manner throughout Milton and shortly after the robbery, police located the suspect vehicle. There was a collision between a police vehicle and suspect vehicle in the area of Thompson Road and Main Street East."

After the crash, all four suspects fled on foot, police said.

Police on scene pursued the suspects on foot and three were arrested.

According to police, a replica handgun was located in the stolen vehicle.

The three males have now been charged.

A 16-year-old of Toronto has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Obstruct police
  • Disguise with intent
  • Point firearm.

A 17-year-old of North York has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Dangerous drive
  • Obstruct police
  • Fail to comply with release order.

An 18-year-old of Scarborough has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery with a firearm
  • Disguise with intent
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of property obtain by crime
  • Obstruct police.

All accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.

Police say one the accused was already subject to conditions, including house arrest, arising out of previous charges at the time of their arrest on these charges.
