Body discovered in creek at Milton golf course: police

Police say the body was located this afternoon, and the investigation is ongoing

Halton Regional Police are investigating after a body was located in Sixteen Mile Creek on the Royal Ontario Golf Club property in Milton today.

Police say they responded to a call around 1 p.m. after the body was discovered in the water on the course. It has since been determined to be male.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating the discovery of a body in the water of Sixteen Mile Creek located on Royal Ontario Golf Club in Milton.

On June 9, 2022 at approximately 1 p.m., the HRPS was contacted by the golf course after a body was spotted in the water on the course.

The HRPS Marine Unit with assistance from the Peel Regional Police Marine Unit and Milton Fire removed the body and it has been confirmed to be male. Investigators are still working to determine the identity of the person found.
