Burglars make off with cash and jewelry from Acton home

Halton Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at a home on the outskirts of Acton.

Police say the incident occurred Thursday (Dec. 14) around 6:30 p.m. on Trillium Terrace, with a window on the ground level of the house being smashed to gain entry.

An unknown quantity of cash and jewelry was stolen, according to police, who say nobody was home at the time.

It’s reported that two suspects were seen in the area, but no descriptions are currently available.

The investigation is ongoing.
