Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday in the Silver Creek Conservation Area in Halton Hills.
Halton Regional Police said they were notified of the incident shortly after 5:20 p.m.
The crash took place on Fallbrook Trail north of 27 Sideroad.
A Jeep SUV driven by a 28-year-old man from Erin was travelling southbound on Fallbrook Trail when it left the roadway and collided with a tree, police said in a news release.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene, police said.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is overseeing the investigation. Anyone with information who has not yet spoken with police is asked to call 905-825-4747, ext. 5065.
