Investigators from Peel, Halton and Waterloo regional police services are appealing to the public for information as they continue to investigate a series of historical alleged sexual assaults on children.

The investigation, known as Project Woodland, delved into the alleged assaults police say occurred from 1992 to 1995 in the involved services' respective regions.

On March 3, investigators arrested 64-year-old Richard Neil from British Columbia and laid 20 criminal charges.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims.

Police say a publication ban is in place to protect the identity of the victims, and no additional information is being released at this time.
