Jewelry stolen during weekend break-in at Georgetown home

Halton Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at a home in Georgetown.

On Saturday sometime between 4 and 8:30 p.m., police say an unknown suspect or suspects forced entry through the front door of a residence on Seed House Lane.

Multiple rooms were rummaged through and jewelry was taken, according to police. The value of the stolen property has yet to be determined.

Nobody was home at the time, police say.

No suspect descriptions are currently available, and the investigation is ongoing.
