Police lay impaired charge at Halton Hills outlet mall

Halton Regional Police charged a 42-year-old man with impaired driving.

Halton Police have charged a York Region man with impaired driving. 

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 11), Halton Police responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the parking lot of Toronto Premium Outlets on Steeles Avenue. 

As a result of their investigation, police charged a 42-year-old man from Maple, Ont. with blood alcohol concentration 80 mg or more, within two hours.

Residents are reminded that driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is a crime in progress and to call 9-1-1 immediately to report a suspected impaired driver.

Halton Regional Police no longer name individuals facing impaired charges.
