Thief crawls through broken glass door, steals cash at Georgetown Subway

Halton Regional Police are investigating a break and enter at a local sub shop.

On Dec. 15 around 12:30 a.m., police say a male suspect used a tool to break the bottom glass of the front door at the Subway restaurant on Guelph Street, near Delrex Boulevard.

After crawling through the opening, he stole cash from the register, according to police, who weren’t able to say how much money was taken.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-10, wearing dark clothes and a medical mask.

No arrests have been made yet.
