A tractor trailer rollover in Norval has wreaked havoc on the evening commute for local drivers.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. this afternoon (March 14) on Guelph Street at Winston Churchill Boulevard in the hamlet.
Initial reports from the scene indicate the driver was temporarily trapped in the truck and was assisted by passersby before emergency crews arrived on scene. No information is currently available on whether the driver sustained any injuries.
The truck, which hit the traffic light at the intersection in the rollover, appeared to be transporting tree limbs and debris.
Police have closed the westbound lane on Guelph Street in Norval, with traffic being rerouted up Winston Churchill Boulevard.
Eastbound traffic is also facing delays.
