Trailer stolen in Halton found in Guelph with missing load

Guelph Police are investigating after a stolen trailer was recovered Tuesday evening with part of its load missing.

Officers patrolling in the area of Southgate Drive and Clair Road just after 8 p.m. discovered the 53-foot trailer parked on the shoulder of the road.

Investigation revealed it had been reported stolen from Halton Region on Monday. Police say at the time it was stolen it was loaded with 19 pallets of product, but was located with only 14 pallets, three of which were empty.

The trailer was seized for forensic examination.
