Christine Monckton and Kelly MacDonald-Wilson, a local real estate team, are passionate about helping families find the right home for their unique needs. With years of experience in the industry, the duo understands the importance of taking a personalized approach to buying and selling homes in Halton Hills and and surrounding areas.

"We like to emphasize that our focus is on families," said Christine Monckton, team lead and broker for the Monckton Real Estate Group. "We understand that families come in all shapes and sizes, and we work with each family to help them find the right home for their specific needs."

Sales representative Kelly MacDonald-Wilson added that their knowledge of the local area and involvement in the community is a key factor in their success.

"We're both from here. We've lived here our whole lives. Our families have grown up here. We're so involved in the community. We want to educate people and show them the area the best we can," she said.

Whether folks are moving from out-of-town, upsizing or downsizing, the Monckton Real Estate Group has the local knowledge to match them with the right home in the area that suits their needs.

"People always ask when's the right time to buy or sell, but it really depends on your personal needs and what you're looking for in your own personal lifestyle," Monckton said. "There is no right time to do this. What's the right time for you? It really depends on your personal circumstances and what you're looking for.”

The Monckton Real Estate Group is one of the top teams in their brokerage and the top five in Canada. Not to mention local awards like the Readers Choice Award and the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce Community Business Excellence Award.

Monckton has been a real estate agent for 13 years. Seven years ago, MacDonald-Wilson joined the team as Monckton’s admin and has since become an agent herself, with Monckton’s mentorship.

“Becoming a real estate agent has been fantastic. It’s offered me many opportunities to help other families in my community, which I'm very excited about. And it's just a great atmosphere and place to work.”

Monckton and MacDonald-Wilson's team also includes two local admins who help support their mission of helping families find their dream homes. They pride themselves on being a family-oriented business that supports other women in the industry.

"We work well together, supporting our families and the other women who work with us," Monckton said.

Having a cohesive team means buying and selling a home is a seamless process from start to finish.

“Someone's always with our clients all the time. There's always communication. There's always a person who can be with them when they need it. There's always someone to drop things off, support with packing, or be there for staging or taking photographs. They get to know everybody and feel like it's more of a family.”

Overall, the team emphasized that buying and selling a home is a personal decision that should be made with the help of experts who understand the unique needs of each family.

"We're here to help families find the home that's right for them," MacDonald-Wilson said. "That's what drives us, and that's what we're passionate about."
