Here is what’s new:

Road Resurfacing

Select streets in Wards 2, 3 and 4 (Georgetown and rural Halton Hills) are slated for upgrades this year through the Pavement Management Resurfacing Program.

Improvements are scheduled to get underway in the spring.

50th Anniversary Legacy Grants Awarded

Four $2,500 legacy grants are being dished out to local organizations as part of the Town’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Fairy Lake Water Quality Study - Open House

A public open house regarding the Fairy Lake water quality study update is set for Feb. 20 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Acton Legion.

A survey to collect feedback on water quality management options and recommendations will be available until March 1.

Following a review of all public input, final recommendations will be brought to council for approval.
