It's time to break out those bikes for the season and get ready to enjoy the great outdoors in Halton Hills.
The multi-city Bike Month is back with a whole host of educational and just plain fun activities available.
Locally, some online workshops have been put together for residents. They include:
June 12- Road Rules
June 13- Basic Bike Maintenance
June 20- Family Biking
June 23- Safe Cycling 101
June 26- Basic Bike Maintenance
June 28- Road Rules
Those who want to get their heart racing can also Bike it to Market on June 18. Starting at 8 a.m., cyclists can ride their bikes to the Georgetown Farmers' Market and enjoy a free pancake breakfast made by the Georgetown Rotary Club. Main Street between Maple Avenue and Church Street will be closed so riders can enjoy a safe circuit.
Events are also being held in municipalities like Toronto, Peel Region and Guelph, among others.
