St. George's Anglican Church and the Lions Club of Georgetown are hosting a Mother's Day brunch May 11.

St. George’s Anglican Church and the Lions Club of Georgetown are teaming up to host a Mother’s Day brunch for a good cause.

The event - set for Saturday, May 11 - will benefit Halton Women's Place, which provides emergency safe shelter and community outreach services to women and children experiencing domestic violence and abuse.

There will be two sittings, a breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and a brunch from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. The breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juice. The brunch will include French toast, pancakes, peameal bacon, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juice.

It will be held at the church, 60 Guelph St., in Georgetown. The cost is $15 per adult and $10 per child ages three to 12. It's free for children under the age of 3.
