Georgetown was a wee bit Scottish this weekend as the Highland Games returned after a pandemic hiatus.

The much-anticipated event hits the Georgetown Fairgrounds June 11, with thousands of local residents turning out to enjoy Highland dancing, piping and drumming competitions, men’s and ladies’ Scottish heavyweight competitions and children’s activities.
