It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Gary on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in his 56 year. He will be sadly and forever missed by his mother Evelyn Corkum and by brothers Rob, Ron (Tina), Dan (Colleen) and his sister Lori and his wife Suzanna Popp. Gary will be fondly remembered by his children Ken (Arleen), Shelly (Don) and Vincent Popp. Proud grandfather to Alaura, Lillian, Gage, Abigail, Alison and Colton. He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends, including Bob Popp, Jerry Zeigler and Wade Sheppard. Gary was predeceased by his father William Atkinson (2008) and his brother William Gordon Atkinson (1969).
Gary’s biggest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson and for watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, he was a die hard Leaf’s fan. Gary was a hard worker working at
Roxul in Milton for 30 years.
Family and Friends will be received at MacKinnon Family Funeral Home,
55 Mill St. E., Acton, on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.
