On Friday, June 30th, 2023 George (Bud) Brown of Eden Mills passed away peacefully at home, following a brief battle with cancer.
Bud was born 62 years ago in Orangeville to George Brown Sr. and the late Heather Brown (2010).
Later the family made many moves throughout Ontario. Once married, Bud and Karen made the village of Eden Mills their home.
From his teen years to recent times, Bud enjoyed the many aspects of cottage life at the family's lakeside cabin near Magnetawan, including time spent with the family dogs. The years spent there allowed him to appreciate the tranquility of nature and the solitude of "off-grid" living.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Karen (née Parnaby), son Eric Brown (Pam) of Eden Mills, daughter Brittany (Scott) Lingelbach of Millbank, sister Vicky (Bruce) Brown, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
At Bud's request, cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial service was held in celebration of his life.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's name to the Guelph Humane Society
would be greatly appreciated by the family.
