It is with deeply saddened hearts we announce the passing of Christine Wendy Campbell of Acton, born February 3rd, 1951 at age 71. Christine passed away at home, on December 30th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. She was married to her committed, cherished husband, Kelly Campbell on April 13th, 1991.

Christine was loved by so many friends and family. Treasured sister of Art, Jerry, Pat and Diane. Revered Aunt to Cheryl, Lynne, Susan, Jamie, Nancy, Laura, Larry, Macey, Harkwood, Kirk, Shane and Terri.
Christine was the beautiful mother of Adam Zimmerman and Holly Hutcheson. She was adored by her grandchildren, Austin and Tyson Hutcheson, Harper and Delaney Zimmerman. Deeply loved by Kelly's siblings, Basil, Marie, Pat, Kathy, Jackie, Jamie and Kim, nephews and nieces, Jason, Samantha, Adrianna, Michelle, Sean, Hollie, Nicki, Peter, Jamie, Josh, Ryan and Chantelle.

In accordance with Christine's wishes there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will occur in the summer. Messages of condolence may be sent to MacKinnon Funeral Home.
Donations to Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills or The Salvation Army, both of which were important causes to Christine, would be happily accepted.

Christine was a career driven professional, nature and sun lover, gardener, avid traveler, a fierce fighter like no other. With an unforgettable, beautiful smile, Christine glowed in social settings and brought joy to anyone in the room. We hope she is still travelling her beloved backroads.

'I had my own notion of grief. I thought it was the sad time that followed the death of someone you love. And you had to push through it to get to the other side. But I am learning there is no other side. There is no pushing through. But rather there is absorption. Adjustment. Acceptance. And grief is not something you complete, rather you endure. Grief is not a task to finish and move on, but an element of yourself - an alteration of your being. A new way of seeing. A new definition of self.'

Arrangements entrusted to MacKinnon Family Funeral Home
