It is with heavy hearts, the family of Colin David Campbell, 48, sadly announces his passing after a short unexpected battle with cancer.
He leaves behind the love of his life, wife Lisa (nee Prueter) and his cherished children, Curtis and Lauren.
He was the much-loved son of June and Andrew (pre-deceased) and most amazing brother to Jane Bahen (Rick) and Carol Parent (Shawn). An exceptional son-in-law to Lyle and Marie Prueter and the ‘bestest” brother-in-law to Trevor Prueter (Sheri) Leanne Phillips (Rick) and Ryan Prueter. Colin will be immensely missed by his nieces and nephews Paige, Nick, David, Audrey, Taylor, Jackson, Jenna, Katelyn, Madison, Ainsley and Carson.
Colin was born and raised in Georgetown and chose to raise his family in Georgetown close to his family and many friends. Colin was a dedicated employee who spent his whole career working for Domtar / Norampac / Cascades first as a Millwright advancing to Maintenance Planner. He will be missed by his many friends at work, his lifelong friends in Georgetown and relatives overseas.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Sunday December 10th, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00am. In Colin’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
