April 21st, 1930 – July 26th, 2022
"Dinah" the last of her generation and youngest of 12 born in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland on the Queen's birthday April 21, 1930 passed gently into the night with dearest daughter and caregiver Janice (Moiez) and musical Harry by her side.
Predeceased by the best dancehall partner Walter Orr Dalziel from the south banks of the Firth of Forth and survived also by her loving sons Alec (Heather) and Walter (Ruth) she was most proud of the '80's with the arrival of her yearly grands Graham, Heather, Andrew, Derek, Brittany, Amber, David, Alex and Kevin and most recently her greats Jack and Griffin with Rory, Ellie and Dominic this past spring. Getting to work for over 50 years or hitting her fave shops Mom knew all the bus routes in Glasgow and from Rexdale here in Toronto.
She loved her music and a good blether with her many pals, better yet a wee party and her family with special mention to her close "brother and sisters" Netta, Jean and Walter also making that life changing trek to Canada mid '60's. Most of all was her love for Glasgow and her "Walter, Walter who lead her to the alter". A class lady with a working class soul loved and was loved. We will be holding hands forever plus a day.
