It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lorena Marie Lamoureux (Lolly) on June 18, 2023 surrounded by her family. Wife of Ted Saitz for 37 years. Mother of Steve Mitchell, Charlene (William) Sheppard and Kelly Mitchell. Grandmother of Mathew, Jacob, Kyle Sheppard and Steven (Rachel), Spencer (Pia), Samantha (Brandon) Mitchell. GG to Liam, Kayden & Paige, Charlie & Henry, Paisley. Sister of Brian (Pat), Bob, Lucy, Howard (Joyce), Donna, Mary (Jeff) and Joe. Sister in law of Raymond Saitz. Loved also by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Pre deceased by her parents Wilfred (2011) & Rita (1995), nephew/godson Jerry (1995), son Scott (2012) and sister Pat (2017).

Born in Toronto and raised in Beaverton, Lolly eventually settled in Acton over 50 years ago. Lolly has been fortunate to have enjoyed so many adventures. A lifetime of gatherings and outings with her family and friends. Ted and Lolly had taken many trips south, enjoying the island resorts. Every single holiday and occasion was spent celebrating with family. She had spent time playing baseball, shuffleboard with the ladies and was a member of the HHSM car club. So many great times, parties and memories. Ted and Lolly’s home was often filled with music, listening to their favourites by Elvis, Burton Cummings, The Beatles and more.Later in life Lolly spent her time having tea with friends, visits with her children and family, doing puzzles and trying to beat Ted at Wordle (sometimes it happened). Lolly will be so deeply missed by her family and friends. She was an absolute joy and loving soul.
