The Lord took to himself our father, grandfather and great-grandfather. At the age of 89, beloved husband of the late Ali Looyenga (2019). Father of Rick & Bonnie, Sid & Hilda, Gerald & Cheryl, Harry & Kim, and Rosemary. Grandfather of 14, and great-grandfather of 13. Predeceased by granddaughter Shania Slater in 2014 and his siblings, Dorothy (1996) & Jacob Kuiken (2011); Susan (1992) & Sijmon Boonstra (2017); and Bert Looyenga (1989). Survived by his sister-in-law, Ann Looyenga.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11 from 6:30 – 9:00pm at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 365 Queen St. E, Acton.
Private Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11am, Pastor Richard Bodini will officiate the funeral service at Bethel CRC in Acton.
In lieu of flowers donations to Halton Hills Christian School, would be appreciated by the family.
