NORTON, Wayne

Norton, Wayne – of Wiarton, and previously of Glen Williams, passed peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Sunday January 7, 2024 at the age of 81. Beloved husband and best friend of Mary for 57 years. Devoted father of Lynn (Brian Ward), of Marsville, Jim (Trish), of Georgetown, Greg (Tanja), of Howdenvale, and Susan (Greg Birkholz), of Rockwood. Cherished Papa of grandchildren Brady (Sara), Jake (Joscelyn), Joel (Danielle), Courtney, Darrin, Emily, Kyle (Kendra), Erik (Jenna), Josh (Jackie), and Amanda (Reid); and great-grandchildren Abby, Sophie, Addison, Julia, Ava, Lucas, Blayke, Mavrik, Ryker, Jayden, Logan, and Bennett. Dear brother-in-law of Uly Soulliere (late Judy), of Harriston, and Kathy Soulliere, of Kingsville. Will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Joe and Della; and brother-in-law, Tom Soulliere. Family wish to express their thanks to the care given at Southbridge, Owen Sound. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 27, 2024, from 3pm – 5pm in the Trafalgar Room at Jones Funeral Home 11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON.
