It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan Starcevic, October 13, 2023. Ivan passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Ivan leaves behind his loving wife Slavica and three daughters, Anne (Darcy), Kathy and Julie (Mike) and his beautiful grand children Mya, Ava, Andrew and Evan. Ivan was born March 1st, 1949 in Kalinovaca, Lika, Croatia. Ivan immigrated to Canada in 1971, where he met and married his beloved wife Slavica.
Ivan and Slavica began their life in Thunder Bay, where they lived most of their life until 2013, when they moved to Georgetown to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Ivan was a family man that always put the needs of his girls before his own. He loved spending time tending to his garden and fruit trees.
He will be reunited in heaven with his father Ivan, mother Anka, brother Martin and sister Marica.
Rest in Peace.
His Love will be imprinted in our hearts forever and his guiding hand on our shoulder will remain forever with us.
