We are sad to announce the passing of Annie on January 9 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Annie was in her 87th year, born March 14, 1937.  She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Chris Vandervoort who passed last year following a tragic fall at home in Terra Cotta. She is the sister of Lillian Vanpamelan and Robert Wolf who are previously deceased and survived by her sister Fern Wolf for whose loving care we are deeply appreciative. Annie is the daughter of Leo Wolf and May Gardiner. She is mother to Daniel Vandervoort (Sylvie Bordeleau) and Roseanne Vandervoort (Terry Fiddler), grandmother of Julianne, Erika and Marieve Vandervoort and Autumn Fiddler, great grandmother of Searlas, Lucielle, Lazare, Alphonse and Isidore. Annie's surviving sisters in law are Clara Oosterhof, Cathy Kelder, Linda Vandervoort, Jane Vandervoort and brothers in law Harry Vandervoort and Con Oosterhof. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews including Leona, Violet and Marty Vanpamelen, Leslie and Eddie Middaugh and Tom Wolf as well as Tim, Trishia, Laurie, James, Margaret and Angela from the Vandervoort side of family.

Anne was born in Matheson, Ontario but spent most of her life in Terra Cotta until last year when she moved to Edgewater Senior Living in Georgetown. In Terra Cotta, she with her siblings, parents and the Warn family developed what is now known as the Terra Cotta Conservation Park. They later made Wolf Park which many of you of a certain vintage will remember. Annie was the custodian of the Jack Smythe Outdoor Education Centre for many years. The past few decades she has enjoyed numerous family gatherings at the family river property north of the old papermill dam in Georgetown. She enjoyed her time at Edgewater where her natural talkative and social nature thrived. Annie was a very generous person and fun to be around, and a vital part of the positive energy at the residence.

Residents and family members will remember Annie dancing at whatever opportunity presented herself. I imagine she is now doing the same with her family in the Lords heavenly kingdom.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Monday, January 15, 2023 for a time of visitation at 10:00 a.m., until a funeral service begins in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception in the Trafalgar Room to follow. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations in Annie's memory be directed to the Mood Disorder Society of Canada or to CAMH.
